Pictures

Having fun outside. You can see some of my spectacular taping skills.

Enjoying a snack.

He still has his spunk and even a little more. Lord help us when he isn't malnourished.

Maddox had fallen down and hurt his head. He wanted Mason to sit next to him, read him a story and rub his head.

Wrestling with Dad. He has been worried he would not be able to wrestle with the tube. One of the caps did come off though and there was a little mess, but now we know to tape the cap before any rough play. I think that's how this is going to be. A learn as we go experience.

Last week more butterflies emerged. We still have 4 left. 2 should emerge in a couple days and then other two will soon after that.

I love the look on their faces.

Well, I am off to bed. Craig is on feeding duty tonight. When my Dad heard that Maddox needed to be given formula every 4 hours, he said "Well Craig, looks like you're breastfeeding!". Hahahahaha! Yep. I should leave Craig in charge of all the night feedings. (kidding).

Today I saw Maddox measuring out how long his tubing was. He'd walk away from his backpack until he felt a tug, then he'd go back to his pack, pull out more tubing, walk again until he felt a tug, etc.. He is going to find the exact limit of his tubing to find a way to walk around without wearing it or lugging it around.

I have noticed that his eyes seem brighter and bluer and that he wakes up happier in the morning. He is also sleeping a lot more deeply. I don't know if that is because of the stress, or because he is getting more calories and nourishment. But it has to be a good thing.

I love how bright his smile is even with all this. He is a trooper, and so are you !
