Maddox said this to me as I was getting ready to take a bath. He then proceeded to take off all his clothes. Once I was in the tub, he asked if he could come in " My clothes are all ready off Mom!". We ended up having a small talk on anatomy( not my initiation) in which he asked in a disgusted voice " How come YOU get the biggest nipples Mom?!". Oy.
Tonight I was in the shower when Maddox said
" I'm hot Mom. It's hot in here, can I take my shirt off?"
J: sure
Mx: Mom, my bottom is hot. I need to take my pants off"
And then he opened the shower curtain, buck naked wearing his safety goggles. And he asked if he could come in. How could I say no to that cute little naked, goggled boy? He just held onto my hands and kept his head down while exclaiming " my goggles are working!!! I not getting water in my eyes!!!"
This really was a big step for him. The shower (or rain as he calls it) has been terrifying for him.
And on both of these nights, Craig has been gone, otherwise I would have been alone. What a little sneaker though. "It's hot in here".
Craig and Mason were at the Globetrotters tonight courtesy of our neighbors. They won 4 tickets but only needed 2, so they gave 2 to us. This summer they gave us tickets to a dinosaur show they had won, but couldn't go to. I love how God blesses us like that. We don't have a whole lot of extra money ( especially since this summer I couldn't work with Craig's Mom living with us, and that is usually a nice supplemental income for us), so it's nice to be able bring Mason to events like these.
Things are going well here. I am feeling sooooo much better since the accidental ingestion of gluten. And my knees are much better. I am going to try a short workout tomorrow morning. There, I said I would. So I better.

I did the 30 day shred this am. Amazing what a week and a half off does to one's body. Knees did well, but I did the modified version, which sucks because I had gotten beyond that. Hopefully I can work up to unmodified soon.
