It was almost Armageddon in our household this afternoon. Our little one was on the toilet and asked for something and didn't like my answer. He sits when he pees, soooo when hen got upset about my answer, he did his lovely grunt thing, while taking his hand off his parts, which allowed his pee to spray. all. over. my. legs. oh yes. I was covered in pee.
I was speechless and standing with my mouth agape while he quickly assumed his potty position and repeatedly said "I sorry, I sorry, I weawwy, weawwy, sorry, I so sorry Mom!"
Thankfully we had just gotten back from a relaxing couple hours at the beach, so I kept my cool. And we moved on and all is good. But holy cow. This boy is going to take me through the wringer (is that how the cliche goes?).
Craig is really sick. He went to urgent care today and they prescribed antibiotics, robitussin, and ibuprofen and gave a note for work to excuse him from work on Monday as well. He was already in bed when we returned from the beach, so I don't know what they said. But it doesn't sound good.

So, I'm reading this 4 days after you posted and I'm wondering if this is allowed to be funny yet? ;o)
Grace threw up right in Micheal's face, twice!!!, last Tuesday night while I was thankfully out leading small group. I thought it was funny because I'm mean that way, but I had to rush home and deal with the mess, which wasn't funny...
Glad we can stick together with our high spirited kids!!
Yes, it is funny. I was laughing about it that night. When I read about the puke in the eyes on facebook, I was laughing, but didn't want to post anything because I didn't know how you two felt about it ;)
Yes. High spirited children. They are great aren't they? Exhausting at times, but never boring!
