Things heard in the changing room today....

I went to JC Penny because I desperately needed jeans. This is not an exaggaration. I had holes all over them (not in places that looked fashionable), all the belt loop things had ripped off, etc...

That meant a trip to the mall and fitting room with both boys. (Mason was instructed to face to corner as I took clothes on and off)

As I'm looking at some jeans with fashionable holes: Mason"Mom, you actually like these jeans?! You really do?! They have holes in them!" as he's chuckling and shaking his head.

In the fitting room: Mason"You are going to put them on?! You are going to buy jeans with holes in them?!?!"

Once the said jeans are on: Maddox "Uh-oh Momma" (pointing at the holes in the jeans). Mason"It's Ok Maddox, that's the style. Mom, it looks like you were painting with those jeans on. Is that paint?"

After I tried a shirt on:Mason"You look like Nana. She has shirts like that when she goes to work(my mom is a nurse).

After another shirt was tried on:Mason"You already have that shirt don't you?" He failed to notice that this particular t-shirt had rolled sleeves, while the t-shirt at home did not. :)

However, the boys were awesome! It was actually a fun and relaxing outing and I found 2 pairs of jeans for dirt cheap, so hooray! And a shirt for my mom for Mother's Day.

Other things heard around the house:
Maddox" That was AWESOME!!!!" after he trips and falls.

Mason"I had a really wierd dream last night. I dreamt I lost 2 teeth."

Maddox"I the Mister King!!!" (in deep voice) while he is whacking away at furniture with a dowel stick.

Maddox (with arms raised while standing in his chair) "I Mister Man!!"

Mason---there is so much that he says, but I forget it so easily. ugh. I want to remember these moments forever. Or at least have them recorded so I can read about them later.

At this moment, they are installing a cabinet in our bathroom, the vanity is in, granite is being ordered, and window is in along with most of the baseboards. It is BEAUTIFUL!! I may have to have an open-bathroom party. I don't think I will ever leave this room when it is done. I can't wait to soak in the tub. ahhhhh
PS I did get the shirt that made me "look like Nana" and the t-shirt that I 'already have"

I have a bunch of pictures of the remodel and the boys. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to get them on.
