This was Maddox's favorite spot the entire weekend. Sitting in his stroller.
Our first meal. Craig took charge of all the food and cooking! It was heaven! that man knows how to camp!
One of the few times Maddox actually ate in his booster. He mostly just walked around eating or stood on the picnic table bench and used a cooler as a table. Until he fell off the bench. That was a scary moment, but thankfully he was OK.
Mason got right to work with the bulldozer. I seriously don't know why we have so many toys at home. Mason and Maddox were perfectly content with a couple of trucks, some rope, dirt, and pieces of wood.
This little guy made himself right at home as soon as we got there.
We forgot to bring the directions for the tent that we borrowed, and hadn't set it up before we went camping. Rookie mistake! Thank goodness for cell phones! Craig was able to talk to Dominic who told him how to put it together. It took a total of 2 hours before the tent was set up. But it worked great and was big enough for us and all of our stuff.
Heading out of our driveway. Soooo excited to go campingWhen we got to the campground and Craig was registering us, Mason said to Maddox, "Maddox, this is the best day of your life right?!?! Because it is the first time you are going camping!"
I'll post more about the trip later.....to be continued.....

Looks like you had a great time. When we camped, when the kids were young, Cathy was the pro at putting up the tent. Just ask her to help you. Haha. She just hated camping.
