We have been adjusting to the fact that A moved out and we are doing well. I finally feel like "normalcy" has returned to our home. The boys and I are back into our routine and it feels sooooo good.

Our advent calendar. Ordered from Stampin up. It was fun to fill each box with a treat for each day as we counted down until Christmas.
We recycled our Christmas tree because everyone was so sad to see it go. We filled it with homemade bird feeders and have been adding to it as we think of new feeders to make.
Decorating the tree.
The bird feeders the boys made. We used gelatin and birdseed and cookie cutters. They turned out pretty cute and the birds love them. I can't remember the blog I got the recipe from, but when I remember, I will post it.We have been keeping busy with crafts and school and classes for Mason. Craig got me a guitar for Christmas, so I have been trying to learn how to play that. 7 years of violin lessons as a kid definitely helps, although my fingers do try to play like a violin. Crazy since I haven't touched a violin since I was in 9th grade, and that was a LOOOOONG time ago. Mason is impressed by my skills so far with the guitar, which I think is hilarious, and Maddox likes to walk around bopping his head to the beat. If I can do OK with the book by myself, I may look into actual lessons.
There is so much to catch up on. But that is the most recent. I hope to get on here several times a week. It feels good to be back on here.

It is good to see you back, Jolee. I've missed you here! I love the birdseed/cookie cutter idea. Do you have a recipe you'd share?
