I don't want to forget

I am just documenting a few things I do not want to forget about the boys. Nothing too exciting.

Today,Maddox put unrolled half a roll of toilet paper and put it in the toilet.

Later in the day when he was given a "time out" he told me "I do kiet time" (translation: I do quiet time) and I said, "This is a time-out". He replied "No timeout! I do kiet time!"

Mason's definitions of the 3 Olympic medals:
Gold: You did a good job.
Silver: You did a pretty good job.
Bronze (he calls it brown): You tried your best, but you didn't win. But maybe you will next time. (I love this boy!!)

At the store Mason could have chosen a coloring book or activity book and he chose :Chicken Soup for the Soul Word Find. (again. I love this boy!)

Maddox loves using different voices when talking. He sings the Clean-Up song whenever he helps me clean up his toys.

Maddox usually sings about whatever he is doing "I runnin away", " I walkin", "I walkin on snow", "I eat sunbutto jelly wich" It's like living in a musical. (who couldn't love this boy?)

Mason is really into drawing right now and doing well.

All 3 of us sat down to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. Mason made the Olympic circles to hang above the TV and gor out a red and green blanket for us to sit on. The boys put on "Uncle Sam" hats and we ate popcorn. It was a very sweet moment.

Mason is asleep on the couch nest to me right now. He really wants to see the cauldron lit and just couldn't keep his eyes open. I hope I can wake him up to see it. He is so excited for the Olympics and I was able to get a study for homeschool about the Olympics. So that has been fun.
