Sooo Far Behind

Well, it has been awhile. I'll just throw a few pictures on here, but there is so much catching up to do. I can't believe it has been a month.

I am still adjusting to homeschooling 1st grade. We have subjects now and it is a bit daunting. I feel like I don't have time to throw in the fun stuff, so I am still trying to figure all of this out. Mason continues to do well though and is enjoying it. today he had his first homeschool class at Hartley Nature Center. They meet once a month...I wish it was more because he loved it so much. I am still trying to find another group for us to attend that doesn't fall into Maddox's nap.
Speaking of that little peanut, he is not sleeping again. Hasn't been for about a month now, which is probably why I haven't been on here. He has been getting up 2-3 times a night. It is frustrating! Just when we think he is going to be sleeping consistently, he changes it up and starts getting up again. I have no idea why. Part of me wants to try taking out the soy again and see if that makes a difference. He was sleeping 12-13 hours at night straight through and taking 2-3 hours naps in July, but that went away when we started the soy. Who knows? Coincidence? Or related? ugh. That is how it goes with this little man.
He had a speech evaluation last week, and Chris felt there is something going on, but he may be working through it now. We'll just wait and see. I feel better about it, so I am not freaking out or anything.
Ahh, what else? The pictures are from Apple Fest. We went to Washburn and spent a couple nights. My sister, her boys, my mom and dad were there too. Dom and Kyrstle camped out on Madeline Island, but we were able to see them for a little bit. I couldn't believe they camped out.
Well, just looked at the clock. Time for school...need to go. Hope everyone is doing fine and is healthy!

Mason and my Mom made a gluten free, dairy free, potato free, egg free apple pie for me and it was FABULOUS!!!!!

Blowing raspberries and sitting with one of his favorite people, Nic.

Nice to have you back! You should totally check with my friend Trish (I think I gave you her # before - let me know if you want it again) for info on how they are doing their homeschool stuff re:science/nature. I want to say they are in a 4H homeschool group that they really like. Looking forward to more updates!

Hi Kathy. Thanks!
I would love your friend's phone number again!
We should really get together some time. Anywhere.

Welcome back. I missed you and stories about the boys. What are Mason's subjects for 1st grade? Anything interesting? Take care and nap a lot.
