Happy St. Patrick's Day

We had a wonderful day today. Started the morning with green oatmeal with green sprinkles and a glass of green milk. My two little leprechauns kept me busy (as usual) and we had fun!! Mason and I made a little leprechaun..which was a lot trickier than he looks, and we made an allergy free cake
Mason took the 1st bite and gave it a sideways thumb. "It's sorta good and sorta bad" The texture was good and I was glad the cake rose, but the taste wasn't all that fab. Although Maddox LOVED it and couldn't eat it fast enough

And here comes a wee leprechaun....

ahh, there's the little fella!!! He is obsessed with his pacifier at the moment, we are going to start getting him off of it during the day one of these days.

After our "festivities", we headed outdoors for 2 hours. We took a walk around the neighborhood and Mason floated a leaf down the side of the road for over a block. He loves running water and floating things down. It was a hoot to watch him. Then we played out in the yard and saw 12 deer, we followed the herd (if that's what you call a bunch of deer) through the woods in the back. It was neat to see so many deer and they weren't too frightened, so we were able to get pretty close. It was a perfect day.

OK. the font keeps changing on here, even though I keep selecting Verdana....I wish I could make this blog look better, but things just move around on their own and text just disappears. I wonder if I just started completely over if that would help....
